  The first nurse was excellent, caring, and compassionate. The imaging department was friendly and helpful. That is the only reason they get 2 stars. Came into the ER with severe pain on middle to lower back radiating around the front and down to pelvic. Blood work showed all was fine so I was given the option as to whether I wanted a CT scan or not. The doctor did not recommend anything, left it completely up to me. I obviously opted for the scan in hopes of reaching a diagnosis, the same thing I would expect from any real doctor. Best take the longer trip to the city for emergency room healthcare. Treated as trash at the end of my very expensive visit, had a door slammed in my face by the relieving nurse, and had to recommend my own medical care . Best guess is these Dr's and most nurses aren't hirable at a more reputable hospital. You will get bottom of the barrel care and even worse treatment, at best.

  Got in quickly only to sit in a freezing room for 6 hours. No one came in to periodically check on me. No blanket, although I asked. No interaction whatsoever from staff, unless the PA was actually in my room speaking to me. That only happened twice. Sat in a room, horribly sick with no imformation relayed to me, talk about feeling helpless. Monitor was popping off the entire time...but hey I lived to write this review about it. Horrible care from a place that is supposed to be a place of healing. After being sent home with undiagnosed fever, irritability, light sensitivity, headache, stiff neck, mental confusion... went to Babtist OKC, head CT and lumbar with imaging confirmed meningitis.Would have had very grim outcome had I not been vigilant that something was in fact VERY WRONG! So important to be your own advocate or have someone who can be. I would not recommend or advise going to Canadian Valley. It is under integris umbrella but has a different director resulting in differential care and policy.
